ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION


The Support Committee At Calverton National Cemetery, Inc., a not-for-profit public charity, servicing and supporting all veterans of all service branches, all periods of service, their families and friends at Calverton National Cemetery through many charitable works, including ceremonies, events, educational endeavors, outreach and supportive services, youth mentoring and volunteerism, and more similar activities.


With many significant major capital improvement projects, ongoing and/or planned, such as the “Memorial Garden & Assembly Area”, “Assembly Area Support Building”, “Educational & Informational Museum”, as well as many other beautification, improvement, memorialization and remembrance projects, educational and informational outreaches increasing public awareness and participation at all cemetery activities, with a special focus on youth educational and mentoring programs, volunteerism promotion, plus much more. The “Avenue of Flags” is just one project of many successful ongoing beautification, improvement, memorialization and remembrance projects.


The Support Committee At Calverton National Cemetery, Inc. participates in the Wreaths Across America and The Vietnam War Commemoration programs.
